Lil' G got to hail his first New York City taxi cab this week and he loved it! This wooden taxi cab is from Manny + Simon, a collection of contemporary children's products and apparel inspired by classic animals and vehicles.

I like so many things about these classic push toys and I'll tell you why...

  • No noise
  • Clean and simple shapes make toys good decor in nursery rooms
  • No annoying melodies
  • No need for batteries
  • Safe and non-toxic materials
  • Easy to wipe clean
  • Not clunky - great for our small spaces (ahem - our tiny apartment)
  • Lil' G loves them!

Manny + Simon's wooden push toys are perfect for babies who are six months and older as they can easily grip the toys with their little fingers, developing their fine motor skills. The push toys all use 100% pre-consumer, domestically grown reclaimed wood residuals and non-toxic, water-based paint.

Thoughtful designs, classic colors, clean and simple lines  - that's what Manny + Simon stands for. Their products  help stimulate kids' vivid imaginations and the superb quality in their products make them memorable family keepsakes for many generations to come.

Not only do their toys rock, but they also do teethers, wooden banks, and funky onesies and teeshirts. I have my eye on Lil' G's next  animal rocker already; how adorable is this calming gray elephant rocker?

Manny + Simon is based in happy Southern California, where they commit to using organic and eco-friendly materials wherever possible. So, the cutest thing about their name is that the company is named after tthe owners' grandfathers. You know a company is full of integrity when they take such pride in their family history. Have fun checking their cool stuff out - I know you'll love them.
