It's one of them 'ultimate-sweater days'
I'm in this crazy sweater daze ever since I met my new friend and neighbor Lola. She introduced me to La Petite Anouk, a boutique line of beautiful children sweaters which are hand knitted in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I fell in love instantly.
The collection is simply gorgeous; the designs are classic and comes in an array of soft muted tones. It took me a lot of willpower to not buy more than a couple of sweaters at once.
I went crazy over the grandpa cardigans and the v-neck sweaters. The v-necks are great for Lil' G right now because he's teething and I can easily put a bib underneath the sweater, which helps to keep the collar clean and dry.
And I adore the girl cardigans so much that I initially bought one for Lil' G by accident. Whoops! Don't worry, I got to exchange it for a gray grandpa cardigan so he is especially happy now.
The girl cardigans come in soft muted tones with delicate details. Aren't these gorgeous? I'm loving the vibrant pink for the winter which easily translates into the Spring as well.
I want the dark blue one for myself but unfortunately, it doesn't come in "mom" size.
The sweaters are 15% wool and 85% acrylic to help reduce the itchy factor for sensitive skin, which helps make the sweaters relatively affordable too!
I should also mention that the wool/acrylic blend makes the washing process super EASY - just throw the sweater in the washer in cold gentle cycle and lay flat to dry.
Hmmm... expensive looking sweaters that are extremely low maintenance? Works for me!
Lil' G loves his cozy sweaters as much as i do; they're comfy and warm and so easy to slip on! Win for me! Here, he's wearing a size 2 in his moss green pullover and casual sweat pants from Imps & Elfs.
