If you are seeing spots, it's a good sign.
Gosh, don't these look so comfortable? These boys' Pioneer socks are sweatshop-free, using non-toxic dyes and are made of amazingly soft organic cotton. So, you're thinking "what's the big deal with organic cotton?" Well, organic cotton is grown without any genetically modified cotton plants; that means no nasty pesticides or fertilizers - just pure, natural and soft cotton. Now, don't you want that against your baby's skin?
Designed by PACT, a company that contributes 10% of each purchase to a non-profit partner and promotes sustainability by using eco-friendly packaging and renewable resources in their factories. PACT seems to really care about their workers and customers, striving to do good from their cotton fields to the shelf.
I immediately spotted these originally as I was crazy about the print. Who doesn't want nutmeg polka-dot socks?!?! (see post Dec. 4th about nuts). I actually had no idea there was so much behind the product. These are slightly pricier than the mass produced department socks that I saw at a sale today, but I have to admit, I do feel good after my PACT purchase knowing that my baby's feet are somehow making a difference in this world.
Good news is that they also make big clothing for us adults but their baby stuff is just too adorable. Gonna go browse their sale section now!
