I'm declaring a summer vacation...now.
I'm a fan of four seasons but sometimes a girl needs a break from the chill so I'm taking a brief hiatus from posting winter gear. Yes, the winter time does excite me (just a little) but sometimes I wish I could close my eyes and transport myself just for a few minutes to some perfect San Diego warm weather. Well, thanks to my little friend Maya, this happy photo of her does just that. I quite needed this glimpse of sunshine as tonight it has plummeted to a bone-chilling 9 degrees Fahrenheit (that's a crazy -12 Celsius for you Canadian folks). I won't even mention the bitter wind that hurt my face today!
Lil' Maya is frolicking in her Tea Collection dress. This pattern is super colorful and goes so well with sandals or a pair of classic Mary Janes, which she's stylishly sporting. Lil' Maya let me in on a secret: she found her darling of a dress at a children's consignment shop called Baby Go Round, in San Diego. But don't fret, you can still find a similar pattern at Tea Collection in a slightly varied style.
I DO really love love all their dresses! Every design is unique and full of adventure. Here's another one of my favorites called Elfengarten (in German, it means a pixie's garden).
Tea Collection is such an inspirational global brand. The talent behind Tea Collection travel the world twice a year to immerse themselves in different cultures so they can bring their ideas back home and express their discoveries through their designs. Tea Collection is really amazing not only because they are wildly imaginative but they are ethically responsible mainly supporting the Global Fund for Children (GFC). GFC's mission is to advance the dignity of children and youth around the world. Since 1997, the GFC has invested nearly $31 million in more than 575 grassroots organizations in 78 countries.
PS. Tea Collection is having a mad sale now.
